CRM Group completes his technical offer for laser cladding

News

CRM Group has recently acquired a fully integrated system for Laser Cladding / Laser Metal Deposition (LMD). This technology consists on a coaxial nozzle from which metallic powders are blown to a surface where the laser melts both, the incident powder and the substrate. This is performed within a protective atmosphere created around the processing volume by simultaneously blowing gas.

This technology is used to coat surfaces, to perform reparations, to build structures…  Moreover, if no powder is blown, the laser can be used for surface reprocessing (e.g., re‑melting).

Feel free to contact us for further information or to exchange on collaboration possibilities.
